Mortal Kombat Legacy Season 2 Trailer

Machinima and Warner Bros. Digital Distribution have released a teaser trailer for the upcoming season of the webseries "Mortal Kombat: Legacy 2" that just premiered at the 3rd Annual Streamy Awards. Mortal Kombat: Legacy,is one of the most-viewed web series of all time with 60 million views on Machinima's YouTube site, the sequel is directed by Kevin Tancharoen, co-writing with Josh Baizer and Marshall Johnson.


The cast is made up of Harry Shum, Jr. ("Glee") as the warlord adviser Kuai Liang, Casper Van Dien (Starship Troopers) as martial arts film actor Johnny Cage, Brian Tee (The Wolverine) as Shaolin Monk Liu Kang, and Mark Dacascos (Cradle 2 the Grave) as Kung Lao. Ian Anthony Dale (“Hawaii Five-O”) also returns as the resurrected ninja Scorpion and Cary Tagawa reprises the role he made famous in the Mortal Kombat theatrical release as the powerful, arrogant sorcerer Shang Tsung.
The footage showcases the non-stop action of the continuing saga as Liu Kang and Ermac join the ranks of fighters introduced in the hugely successful first season. The trailer features first glimpses into the rivalries and histories of these fierce warriors as Raiden and his recruits clash against the dark forces of Outworld in the epic battle for Earthrealm!"
