Arrow Promotes Colton Haynes To Series Regular

Looks like Oliver Queen getting a sidekick on Arrow have increased, as Colton Haynes is getting a promotion to series regular. Hanyes was introduced as Roy Harper, which in the comic books was Green Arrow’s sidekick Speedy, before taking on the identities of Arsenal and then becoming Red Arrow.




Haynes will continue to appear in Season 1 as it comes to a end and then  return as a regular in Season 2. He is the second actor to get such a promotion for the second season, following Emily Bett Rickards, who will be back in a larger capacity as Felicity Smoak.

On Arrow, Roy's storyline is tied into Mia's, but we're guessing he and Oliver will be getting to know each other very soon!
