The Hunger Games Catching Fire Teaser Trailer to Premiere During MTV Movie Awards.The 2013 MTV Movie awards will feature an exclusive first look at the first teaser trailer for Lionsgate’s The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. In an MTV promo released Wednesday, fans caught less than 10 seconds of Katniss Evergreen (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) being presented as the winner of the 74th Annual Hunger Games (video below). The full preview will air during the awards on Sunday, April 14, at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
The Hunger Games Catching Fire is set to be released on November 22nd, 2013.The sequel to the first Hunger Games installment follows Katniss and Peeta as they celebrate their win by going on a victory tour around the 12 districts of Panem.
